# Rotate layer

1. Select layer
2. Do one of the following:
   * Move pointer outside of bounding box (pointer becomes curved, two-sided arrow <img src="https://963067965-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-legacy-files/o/assets%2F-MIJW5nbmYRaSNWePAac%2F-MJ11KPZcnUL77tHuPZJ%2F-MJ12RLw2BWFF7_-XIsm%2Frotate45.png?alt=media&#x26;token=543e7169-a1d3-4763-a71f-8e3e113814f5" alt="" data-size="line"> ) and drag. Hold `Shift` to constrain rotation to 15° increments
   * Enter X rotation, Y rotation or Z rotation in Rotation section in Geometry Inspector.
