Color fill
To fill widget background with a solid color:
Select widget
Open Style Inspector
Click Background color in Background section
Image fill
To insert custom image as a background:
Select widget
Open Style Inspector
Click Background image and select image file
Select image fill mode from the list
To remove image click — button on the right.
